Job Description

Who You'll Work With

As the Country Manager Sales for ASEAN, you will collaborate closely with our strategic channel partners, Tier-1 system integrators, and distributors to drive business growth across the region, with a primary focus on Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Your primary focus will be to generate qualified leads, acquire new enterprise and service provider customers, and consistently exceed sales quotas. You will engage with senior decision-makers within large enterprise accounts and leverage your deep understanding of networking and/or data center technologies to position our solutions effectively. Cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, and regional technical teams will be key to your success in this role.

As the Country Manager Sales for ASEAN, you will lead strategic efforts to expand our customer base across Southeast Asia, working with cutting edge Software Defined Networking (SDN) and AI-driven networking technologies that are transforming the industry.

You’ll play a critical role in identifying and closing new business opportunities, building long-term customer relationships, and partnering with local channel and technology allies to accelerate regional growth. Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual bookings goals across the ASEAN territory.

  • Build a robust sales pipeline by developing relationships with top-tier prospects, partners, and customers in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and expanding ASEAN markets.

  • Manage and grow new customer relationships and revenue associated with Arista data center networking products and AI Ethernet fabrics.

  • Prospect and develop new potential customers by qualifying and tracking leads, researching and identifying key contacts, establishing cross-border business relationships, qualifying new accounts, and closing sales.

  • Prospect, develop, and enable partner resellers and local system integrators within the designated ASEAN countries.

  • Build mutually beneficial relationships with value-add resellers (VARs) and grow business through these strategic partnerships.

  • Participate in regional marketing program planning, development, execution, and measurement to ensure that programs succeed according to market requirements.

  • Interface with Arista regional headquarters to coordinate sales, engineering, and marketing activity.

  • Take initiative in getting necessary training and certification on Arista products and architecture.

  • Monitor client satisfaction across diverse cultural markets and elevate issues of dissatisfaction for quick resolution.

  • Set own priorities and schedules to meet established regional goals and meet commitments consistently.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years’ sales manager experience in high tech, specifically within the networking, cloud infrastructure, or IT infrastructure vendor sector in the ASEAN region.

  • Proven track record of direct sales and territory development focusing heavily on Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

  • Demonstrated history of consistent sales achievement over target and breaking into new logos.

  • Consistent track record for developing new business and managing a complex, cross-border sales cycle, from generating leads to closing multi-million dollar deals.

  • Core Domain knowledge of networking solutions, network routers/switches, open networking protocols, and selling directly into modern data center or cloud environments.

  • Demonstrated success with CXO and multi-level selling within large enterprises, conglomerates, financial services institutions (FSI), and service providers.

  • Highly motivated professional with excellent cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to develop and maintain long-term trusted relationships.

  • Deep knowledge of competitive products, solutions, and services within the cloud and enterprise networking space.

  • Professional in appearance with solid business acumen and the ability to present, negotiate, and navigate regional procurement compliance.

  • Strong time management, ability to multi-task, takes initiative, and follows through across multiple time zones.

  • Desire and ability to lead, mentor, and grow a localized team as the ASEAN business expands.

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to integrity.

  • Prior experience selling into Global 2000 organizations, large regional banks, or government-linked corporations (GLCs) is highly desired.

  • Fluency in English is required; professional proficiency in local languages is a distinct advantage to support regional clients.

  • Work Rights & Location: Must currently reside in Singapore with valid local working rights. (Arista does not offer relocation for this position).
