What You'll Do
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Major Account Manager to drive strategic engagements within the Financial Services Industry (FSI) in Japan — with a focus on mega banks, leading financial institutions. You will be instrumental in building deep C-suite relationships, crafting tailored solutions, and accelerating the adoption of our advanced networking and security platforms to support critical digital transformation initiatives.
As a Major Account Manager at Arista Networks, you will lead strategic sales engagements with a select group of Mega Banks and Financial Services (FSI) clients in Japan.
You will act as a trusted advisor, helping financial institutions modernize their infrastructure to meet demands for resilience, security, low latency, and regulatory compliance.
Your Key Responsibilities
Own and grow relationships with CIO, CTO, CISO, and Infrastructure leaders within assigned FSI accounts.

Drive consultative selling across Arista’s portfolio including:
Data Center & Campus Networking
Cloud-based Wi-Fi & PoE solutions
Routing platforms
CloudVision® (automation & telemetry)
DMF, NDR, Endpoint and AI-driven Network Identity solutions

Align solutions to FSI priorities such as:
Operational resilience
Trading performance & low latency
Regulatory compliance & audit visibility
Cybersecurity and risk reduction
Develop and execute multi-year account plans in collaboration with Sales Engineering and Partners.
Build strong pipeline, manage accurate forecasting, and close strategic, high-value infrastructure deals.
This role requires someone comfortable navigating complex financial institutions, managing long enterprise sales cycles, and positioning Arista as a long-term strategic partner.
Qualifications
10+ years of enterprise sales experience focused on large strategic accounts — especially within FSI/Mega Banks and complex enterprise clients in Japan.
Proven track record of closing major deals with senior stakeholders and influencing long-term relationships at C-level.
Expertise in consultative solution selling of complex technology portfolios (networking, cloud, security, automation).
Excellent understanding of Japan’s banking technology landscape, compliance drivers, and enterprise procurement processes.
Strong business acumen with ability to translate customer business outcomes into technical value propositions.
Native level Japanese and business-fluent English (written & verbal).
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with superb stakeholder management.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
