Job Description
Who You'll Work With
As a Manufacturing Debug Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues
at various stages of the manufacturing process for our Networking Switches. You will work
closely with the manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure that our products meet the
highest quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Electronics Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of electronics fundamentals to understand and troubleshoot issues in Networking Switches.
- Schematic Analysis: Read and interpret schematic diagrams to diagnose and resolve electronic and connectivity issues.
- Programming Dongles: Effectively use programming dongles and equipment to load and verify firmware and configurations.
- Manufacturing Process Understanding: Have a solid understanding of the manufacturing process, from the PCB level (SMT/ICT/AOI/X-ray) up to high-level assembly testing.
- Debugging Skills: Identify and address defects or malfunctions in electronic components, PCBs, and high-level assemblies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and quality control to ensure efficient debugging and issue resolution.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying issues and implement corrective actions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of debugging activities, issues, and resolutions for future reference.
- Continuous Improvement: Work on process improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams.
- Experience with debugging hardware and firmware issues.
- Familiarity with programming dongles and equipment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes from PCB assembly to system-level testing.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Willingness to collaborate with global EMS partners and provide training and support as needed.
