Job Description

Who You’ll Work With

Collaborate closely with CM’s planning staff to align production schedules, material flow, and safety stocks to meet business forecasts.Partner with teams across the DF region to evaluate delivery performance and address any shipment or delivery issues.Coordinate with Product Management, the Asia Ops Planning Manager, and internal support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Engage with third-party warehouses and logistic teams for inventory control and on-time delivery. Liaise with management, customers, and distribution facilities (DF) to provide updates, manage product returns, and resolve escalated issues efficiently.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage CM’s planning staff to ensure scheduling of material flow to meet production schedules and requirements and end customer requirements.
  • Create and maintain a master schedule with CM that supports business forecast, including safety stocks.
  • Analyze demand requirements to identify production and supply bottlenecks and recommend actions for resolution.
  • Directs CM’s production planning to ensure on time availability of products to fill customer orders and on time shipments.
  • Coordinate with DF region to evaluates and recommends actions to improve on time delivery performance to the customer.
  • Responds to DF, Asia Ops Planning Manager and Product Management issues.
  • Makes sure each operation meets shipping dates according to customer orders (On Time Delivery).
  • Familiar with Shipping and Logistic issue and knowledge.
  • Coordinating product returns (RMAs) and process return to DF or HQ.
  • Manage 3rd party warehouse Inventory accuracy and FIFO.Coordinate QBRs.
  • Oversee production planning and management activities within the organization.
  • Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specifications.Plan work flow and schedules for production departments.
  • Monitor production status and ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify delays and accordingly adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Assist in production risk assessment and mitigation activities.
  • Notify customers/DFs/Management on any delays and outages.
  • Provide excellent internal support and ensure with DF and work with them for customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate current production processes and recommend improvements. • Assist in new product development and enhancements. • Conduct daily meetings to keep track of production schedules.
  • Ensure that finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Resolve production issues and escalate unresolved issues to management promptly.

Qualifications

  • Preferably Minimum of five (6) years & Up of hands on scheduling in a complex manufacturing and assembly environment with meaningful scale in the related field is required for this position OR in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
  • Strong demonstrated critical thinking and logic skills with proven track record of success in a complex production and assembly environment.
  • Excellent and proven project leadership and team participation skills.
  • Required skill(s): production planning, control and management, Process Improvement.
  • Proven experience working in a supervisory role in the industry preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sharp production focus with a drive for accurate results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution attributes.
  • Able to travel as required to meet with CM as necessary to ensure timely project development.
  • Infrequently to US/ Mexico/Europe to meet contractor manufacturer • Flexible to working hours as required to meet project deadlines.
  • Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business management, or related field is preferred.
