We design virtually all of the hardware and software that goes into our products and it’s a badge we wear proudly. We are looking for experienced, motivated full-time hardware engineers to join us in creating industry-leading Wireless LAN Access Points at our WiFi development center in either Pune or Bangalore, India You will own and be responsible for all stages of the entire design process, actively working with our hardware ODM vendors from initial concept through bringup and then release to production.
What You’ll Do
Candidates for this position would be responsible for the entire hardware design process:
- Lab bring up and debug of access point prototypes and production systems
- Driving complex system debug between software, hardware, and test teams
- Driving ODM teams in all hardware aspects of Access Point hardware design (Component selection, Schematic Capture, PCB layout)
- Working with internal teams to run (or run your own) signal integrity simulations on both power and datapath signals
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech. or M.E. or M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering
- 10+ years of relevant experience in hardware engineering
- Experience designing Networking Hardware esp. WiFi Access Points.
- Experience working with ODM/JDM vendors for hw design
- Ability to travel to Taiwan is required
- Experience with WiFi, Bluetooth, and other wireless technologies
- Experience working with High speed interfaces, such as DDR, PCIe
- Writing specifications and drawing schematics
- Experience Working closely with Software and test engineers to bringup and debug systems
- Familiarity with signal integrity and power integrity concepts and tools, such as: impedance, PDN’s, differential routing, insertion loss, S-parameters, TDR’s, VNA’s
- Experience with mass production Design for Manufactuability (DFM)
- Experience taking products from concept to production
