Senior Staff Product Manager - Clinical Testing

PacBio is seeking a Senior Staff Product Manager, Clinical Testing to accelerate adoption of HiFi long-read sequencing in the clinic. This is a high-impact, outward-facing role for an experienced marketer who can influence clinical decision-makers and move laboratories from interest to action.

You will lead the go-to-market strategy for PacBio’s long-read clinical testing solutions, owning positioning, messaging, and campaigns that drive adoption across clinical laboratories, hospitals, and health systems. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of how clinical labs evaluate, adopt, and operationalize new testing technologies and the ability to translate that insight into compelling stories, proof points, and programs that change behavior.

The ideal candidate has experience marketing and/or selling diagnostic tests or LDTs, with a strong grasp of clinical lab operations, including validation, reimbursement, throughput, staffing, and cost efficiency. The candidate is also skilled in communicating with lab directors, molecular pathologists, clinical geneticists, and business leaders, to clearly articulate why change matters now to a wide range of decision makers.

If you’re ready to combine strategic commercial thinking, creative execution, and clinical credibility to turn PacBio’s differentiated long read technology into clear, outcome-driven value, we want you to apply!

Why PacBio

At PacBio, you’ll help shape how long-read sequencing transforms clinical testing, enabling better diagnostics and expanding what’s possible in human genomics. • Experience creating campaigns that clearly communicate clinical outcomes and operational efficiencies, resulting in strong customer engagement and uptake.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales and commercial teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred experience
  • Background in clinical testing laboratories, molecular diagnostics, or sequencing companies, with hands-on experience commercializing and marketing clinical tests or sequencing platforms.
  • Experience supporting hospital-based laboratories, reference labs, or health systems.
  • Familiarity with regulated clinical environments and the transition from research to clinical testing.
  • Experience marketing advanced genomics technologies in rare disease, hereditary risk, pharmacogenomics, oncology, or neurogenetics is a plus.
