Contractor - Commercial Support Representative

Opportunity for a collaborative, execution oriented Commercial Support Representative to join the PacBio Commercial Operations team. This role reports to the Associate Director, Commercial Support. This position will be a key member of the Commercial Support team, focusing on order management, sales support and transactional compliance. This position fields customer inquiries and requests with the objective of maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. Responsible for data integrity for audits and reporting.
Position Responsibilities:
Reviews and correctly assigns Salesforce cases to proper territories.
Receives and reviews customer purchase orders to ensure they meet Finance standards and are SOX compliant.
Processes orders accurately in SAP or Salesforce, sending order acknowledgments and managing backlog.
Support Sales including custom quotes, documentation, and vendor registration.
Daily coordination of all customer-facing activities related to inquiries and order management, including timely follow-up and resolution.
Coordinate with Logistics to ensure timely and correct delivery.
Ensure audit compliance (document controls, process controls, reports, cooperation with internal/external Auditors with a specific focus on key order entry accuracy control).
Interacts with Marketing, Operations, Manufacturing, Technical Support, Planning and Field Service and other functional groups to drive the order fulfillment process.
Review, validate and execute requests for master data creation and modifications from cross-functional partners (Sales, Service, Marketing) including new account creation and validations
Perform monthly reviews of revenue orders to ensure completeness and accuracy of order data meets SOX compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in order entry and management function (International experience is a plus)
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Performs highly accurate work (excellent attention to detail)
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and email systems are required
Proactive self-starter that drives for results and is a customer advocate
Able to interact at many levels within the organization, internal and external
Able to work under pressure and tight timelines, striving to meet or exceed KPIs
Problem solving attitude and cross-functional perspective
Ability to initiate and complete process improvement through influence/teamwork
Preferred Experience:
Experience with SAP is highly preferred
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM system preferred
