The Opportunity
We are seeking a Sr. Director Sales, Global Markets to drive the international growth of our Kardia suite of products. This role is designed for a strategic commercial leader who can navigate the complexities of global healthcare systems—from securing government tenders and favorable reimbursement to managing high-performing distribution networks. You will act as a key bridge between our cutting-edge technology and the global cardiology community, transforming clinical advocacy into sustainable revenue growth.
The ideal candidate brings 12+ years of sales leadership and a deep clinical understanding of cardiology and ECG interpretation. We are looking for a high-energy expert who excels at building multi-tiered reseller channels, nurturing KOL relationships, and closing complex B2B2C deals across diverse regulatory landscapes. If you are a results-oriented strategist with a track record of scaling medical device or digital health solutions in international markets, this role offers the platform to drive significant commercial impact on a global scale.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for Kardia suite of products and services across direct and non-direct reseller channels in designated countries/clusters/channels/segments
- Achieve and exceed ambitious sales targets, driving market expansion and revenue growth
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities with key medical systems (hospitals, clinics, integrated care networks), governmental healthcare bodies, and other target channels in B2B and B2B2C
- Lead complex sales cycles for integration/ service revenue from prospecting through negotiation and closing, managing tender processes where relevant
- Proactively identify, onboard, train and develop new direct and nondirect reseller partners capable of effectively distributing Kardia suite of products and services
- Cultivate strong, mutually beneficial relationships with existing resellers, providing strategic guidance, sales training, and marketing support to maximize their performance
- Monitor reseller performance, ensuring adherence to targets and strategic alignment. Set clear KPIs for distributors, monitor performance closely, and implement corrective actions or termination procedures as necessary to ensure targets are met.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and margin structures to maximize growth and profitability
- Identify, build, and nurture relationships with influential thought leaders across focus geographies and segments
- Develop and execute KOL engagement plans to drive clinical advocacy, support product adoption, and gather crucial market insights
- Collaborate on clinical studies, educational programs, and thought leadership initiatives with KOLs
- Leverage deep clinical understanding of cardiology and arrhythmias to effectively communicate the diagnostic and therapeutic value of Kardia
- Navigate the complexities of medical procurement processes within hospitals, government led and private healthcare systems, understanding funding models and decision-making units
- Maintain an expert-level understanding of Kardia technology, competitive offerings, and the evolving digital health landscape in allocated focus areas
- In-depth market analysis, competitive assessments, and trend identification (e.g., healthcare policy shifts, digital health adoption) to adapt strategies proactively
- Gather and synthesize market intelligence, providing critical feedback to product development, marketing, and regulatory teams to inform future strategies
- Lead the strategy and execution for securing large-scale government and institutional tenders and procurement contracts in target geographies
- Work closely with market access team to navigate local health policy, secure favorable reimbursement, and ensure product inclusion in public health initiatives
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, account plans, pipeline management, CRM records (e.g., Salesforce), and activity reports
Skills and Requirements:
- 12+ years of sales leadership experience. Proven track record in medical device, digital health, or HealthTech, with at least 5 years ins a senior leadership role managing international territories.
- Expert-level knowledge and success in navigating diverse healthcare systems (e.g., NHS EU public tenders, or emerging markets) and managing multi-tiered distribution networks
- A strong clinical understanding of cardiology, specifically arrhythmias and ECG interpretation, to effectively engage with electrophysiologists and cardiologists
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA), AI-driven diagnostic tools, and the integration of medical data into EHR/EMR systems
- Experience working with regulatory and reimbursement bodies to secure coding, coverage, and inclusion in public health initiatives
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively (approx. 40%+) across the UK and Ireland.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions
