The Opportunity

As the Sales Director for the UK & Ireland, you will be at the forefront of expanding AliveCor’s footprint across a critical international market. This role is a strategic blend of direct solution selling and distributor management, requiring a leader who can navigate the complexities of the NHS and private healthcare procurement systems. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of market growth: from identifying new tendering opportunities and managing framework agreements to cultivating high-level relationships with clinical thought leaders and reimbursement authorities. We are looking for a tenacious, data-driven professional who can balance independent territory management with a collaborative approach to hiring and onboarding distributor partners. If you have a proven track record in medical device or diagnostic sales and the agility to drive adoption of our AI-powered ECG technology within the evolving UK and Irish healthcare landscapes, this is a unique opportunity to shape the future of cardiac care.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales strategies and programs within the region to achieve the sales target in line with the annual operating plans, for both own direct sales and distributors
  • Lead strategic expansion of Alivecor Products and Services into new accounts, while driving sales growth in existing accounts
  • Select, hire, onboard and manage distributor partners to drive reproducible results, measurability, and accountability.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to management, and adjusting strategies as needed
  • Establish and manage relationships with key thought leaders, government agencies, reimbursement authorities and insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape
  • Develop and maintain relationships and credibility with the AliveCor customer base. Represent AliveCor at medical conventions.

Skills and requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive sales experience in the medical device or diagnostics industry, with a demonstrable track record of success.
  • Expert-level knowledge of the UK and Ireland healthcare procurement systems (e.g., NHS framework agreements, tendering processes).
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively (approx. 40%+) across the UK and Ireland.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions
