Overview
AliveCor is a pioneer in FDA-cleared personal ECG technology, transforming cardiac care globally. We are seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven Zonal Business Development Head to lead and expand our market presence in a critical zone in India.This role is essential for driving B2B growth, establishing strong channel partnerships, and managing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to ensure the successful integration and adoption of AliveCor's solutions in the Indian healthcare ecosystem. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and possesses a "go and get it done" mindset.
Key Responsibilities
1. Channel Partner Management & Sales
Identify & Onboard: Strategically identify, evaluate, and onboard new channel partners, distributors, and resellers across the zonal territory to maximize market reach and sales penetration.
Performance & Growth: Establish clear sales targets and KPIs for channel partners. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide necessary training, and drive joint business planning to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with channel partner leadership, ensuring high levels of engagement and commitment to the AliveCor brand.
B2B/Institutional Sales: Directly lead and drive the B2B/institutional sales cycle, focusing on large accounts such as major hospitals, diagnostic chains, corporate wellness programs, and government tenders.
2. Strategic Business Development & New Channels
Market Exploration: Proactively explore and evaluate new channels for the integration of AliveCor's solutions, including strategic partnerships with Health-Tech platforms, Telecom companies, Insurance providers, and remote patient monitoring (RPM) services.
Business Case Development: Develop robust business models, financial projections, and proposals for new partnerships and B2B initiatives, demonstrating clear ROI and strategic value.
Execution: Take ownership of the full deal lifecycle from lead generation, negotiation, contracting, and initial rollout.
3. Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Management
Engagement & Advocacy: Build and nurture strong, credible relationships with leading Cardiologists, Physicians, and administrative KOLs in the zone.
Clinical Integration: Collaborate with KOLs to drive clinical studies, product advocacy, and the successful integration of AliveCor's technology into clinical guidelines and patient pathways.
Events & Forums: Represent AliveCor at key national and zonal cardiology/medical conferences, workshops, and scientific forums to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
Experience: Minimum 10 - 12 years of progressive experience in Business Development, Institutional Sales, or Channel Management within the Healthcare, Medical Devices, or Healthcare industry in India.
Domain Knowledge: A deep understanding of the Indian healthcare ecosystem, including hospital administration, diagnostic workflows, and the procurement process for medical technology.
Education: A Bachelor's degree is required. An MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Management, Sales & Marketing) is highly preferred.
Startup Acumen: Demonstrated experience working successfully in a startup or fast-growth environment, exhibiting adaptability, resilience, and resourcefulness.
Skills & Competencies:
Agility & Proactiveness: Proven ability to adopt a "go and get it done" approach; comfortable making decisions and driving execution with minimal supervision.
Negotiation & Deal Closure: Exceptional skills in complex commercial negotiations, contract finalization, and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Leadership & Teamwork: Strong ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, clinical, and global teams.
Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English and relevant regional languages.
Travel: Willingness to undertake significant travel within the assigned zone and occasionally nationally/globally as required.
