About the role
As a Senior Technical Sourcer, you’ll use your sourcing skills to develop a pool of diverse and qualified talent for our Engineering roles. You should have a passion for creatively engaging with candidates and strive to improve both hiring speed and quality. You’ll play a crucial role in refining our sourcing process and strategy that will have an impact on the candidate and hiring manager experience.
Please note that this role is in the San Francisco Bay Area.
We're excited to have a packed and lively office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Twice a week those of us in the Bay Area come to our office located in the Financial District for All Hands, intense collaboration, brainstorming activities, and fun events. There are small rooms for 1-1 mentoring sessions or heads down work, and larger rooms for team activities. We continue to support a flexible work environment for all of life’s surprises and needs with generous time off and flexible daily work schedules.

How you’ll contribute

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to build and increase the pipeline of top talent through multiple sourcing channels
  • Continuously design and implement effective sourcing strategies based on an understanding of the market and each specific role
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our recruiting process
  • Represent the company with integrity and professionalism by prioritizing candidate experience
  • Regularly track, analyze, and share pipeline and performance data with internal partners
  • Build and disseminate sourcing methodologies to the team
  • Conduct research to understand the competitive landscape

The skills and experiences you’ll need to succeed

  • 5+ years of technical sourcing experience across sophisticated product, design, and engineering roles
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and engaging with outstanding candidates in high-growth environments
  • Creative candidate outreach that is both innovative and compelling in order to attract top talent
  • Professional communication in all candidate interactions while embracing our culture, values, and brand
  • Knowledge of sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Github, Boolean strings, etc.)

  • Passionate about higher education and education technology
  • Previous tech startup experience in consumer facing companies
